Just keep in mind that for these puppies, you do need roughly a 100W charger. They also last a bit longer (per run) than the usual 5000mah jobs, while being very reasonably priced. ![]() I'm running two of them in mine, they came well balanced and hold up to the application well. Some fit 4s packs just fine, others don't and require 2x2s. In regards to the batteries, it depends on the RC and its battery trays. If you want to be on the safe side, take the Kraton. That said: both of them come with throttle limiting out of the box. Technically the Kraton is the easier car to drive straight, but my latest RC has a wheelbase overall longer than the entire Kraton and it barely goes straight. Though, as i said, the Outcast is the "stuntier" truck of the both, easier to do backflips etc with. They're both very powerful trucks and will wheelie off the line, the wheelbase doesn't really matter if the front wheels aren't touching the ground, if that makes sense. No, i wouldn't say that the Kraton is easier to drive. I have heard very good things about the Kraton 4S, is there anything else in this price range that is recommended? I have been having a little look at finances and can go higher. I'd say this is the absolute top setup you can get for around £300 The Sentons pretty bulletproof, and it has lots of high quality aftermarket support. This setup blows the carnage out of the water. If you can spend a tad over £300, I'd definitely go with what i'm about to listĬonnector adapter (the battery and the caf come with two different connectors. Big tires combined with 4wdand a brushless system wil give you a very capable truck. The carnage is the best value for money which is why its suggested so often.
